Accompanied by their lecturers, the students gave a number of presentations to the school community.

Mr Khayelihle Khumalo, Ms Aarifah Tayoh and Ms Mishka Jadwat’s presentation on the impact of hearing loss was followed by hearing screenings in the school library.

RP Moodley staff received information pamphlets, brochures, booklets and flyers on hearing loss, ear care and how to communicate with people with hearing loss. They also received pens and notebooks.

The school’s Speech Therapy and Audiologist, Mrs Nishla Maharaj, said she was grateful for the students’ initiative. “We really appreciate having the students. Their work is highly valued.”
